One end game activity you can take part in is capturing the new Ultra Beasts that are in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This activity is triggered immediately after you wake up in your home following the game’s credits. You will be greeted by the Ultra Recon Squad who want you to help them gather information on the Ultra Beasts that have arrived in Alola.

Team Rainbow Rocket Quest

Team Rainbow Rocket is an entirely new quest line that is unique to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The Team Rainbow Rocket quest line starts after you catch your first Ultra Beast for the Ultra Recon Squad. Once you’ve done this, you will return home and awake to a Rainbow Rocket invasion. Basically Team Rainbow Rocket has come to Alola with the hopes of stealing the knowledge of the Aether Organization for themselves. No one else is strong enough to challenge these new enemies except for the first ever Alola Pokemon Champion, you.

After capturing the Ultra Beast Stakataka, you will return to your house and go to sleep. The next day you will awake to news that Team Rainbow Rocket has invaded Alola. To start the Team Rainbow Rocket questline, make your way to Aether Paradise. Here you will need to make your way through the Team Rocket Castle which involves completing a number of puzzles and boss battles.

Catch Lunala or Solgaleo (as well as the Island Guardians)

Depending on which copy of Pokemon Ultra you own will determine which cover Legendary you get. If you picked up Pokemon Ultra Sun, you will be able to get Solgaleo, while those who picked up Pokemon Ultra Moon will get Lunala.

To get the cover Pokemon, return to where you first met Lillie on Mahlo Trail (Melemele Island) and she will present it to you. You will need to battle and capture the legendary Pokemon in order to add it to your party.

Acquiring the Island Guardians is similar to how it was in Pokemon Sun and Moon, so use this guide to grab those legendaries

Collect Totem Stickers

A new addition to Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is the Totem Stickers. These stickers are located throughout Alola and can be collected and returned to Professor Oak for special ‘Totem Size’ Pokemon. In total there are 100 Totem Stickers to collect throughout the region. The folks over at serebii.net have a nice list of all 100 sticker locations, so check them out.

Fight at the Battle Tree

Like other games in the series, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have their own form of endgame arena in the Battle Tree. The Battle Tree can be located on Poni Island at the end of Poni Gauntlet. Here you can battle endlessly, with the purpose of stacking up win streaks to unlock harder opponents and stronger items. Battle Tree is basically the toughest endgame content, so make sure you are adequately ready to face off with some high level trainers. Battle Tree is filled with familiar faces from throughout the series, so enjoy the fan service.

Bonus: Catch Em All

The ultimate form of Pokemon mastery is attempting to fill up your entire Pokedex. Currently there are over 400 Pokemon in the Alola Pokedex for trainers to catch. Both Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have their own exclusives, so having friends with the opposite copy helps speed up this process.

If you don’t have any friends fear not as Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has some robust multiplayer options to accomplish this feat. Wondertrade and GTS are good options to try to expand your pokedex. Other more traditional methods include going out and hunting for the Pokemon you need (old school); dropping your information and what your looking for in the comments of this article; and using the Pelagio which can add to your Pokedex pretty passively.

Get all the stamps on your trainer passport. I spent hundreds of hours before I finally beat wave 50 in all the battle tree options. You could also breed/chain for shinies, or train up a handful of strategic teams and battle competitively online. That’s what I’ve been doing anyway.
