Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris The Gateway Quest
When you begin Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris DLC, you will need to complete The Gateway. This quest is the first quest of the DLC and is fairly easy to complete. To complete the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris The Gateway quest, follow the guide below.
From The Director Select Mercury
Ensure you have the content pack available and log into Destiny 2. Select the character you want and access the Director. From here, look for Mercury, which is located directly above The Tower (at the top of your screen). Select Mercury to trigger about 7 minutes of cutscenes giving a little bit of story on Osiris. After the cutscenes are over, you will then arrive on Mercury and begin the The Gateway quest. The Recommended Power for Mercury is +200, so ensure you are adequately prepared before jumping in.
Find a Gateway Into The Infinite Forest

- The final jump pad leading to The Lighthouse.
When you land on Mercury, you will be tasked with finding a gateway into The Infinite Forest. The gateway is located near The Lighthouse, which is the large building in the distance from the mission start area. To reach The Lighthouse area, follow the linear path, battle the Vex and use the various jump pads you come across. The final jump pad will launch you across a large chasm and place you in the main hub area of Curse of Osiris.

- You land at The Lighthouse, so make your way towards The Gateway.

- The Gateway can be seen in the distance from The Lighthouse.

- The Gateway is closed for now.
The Gateway we are looking for is located opposite The Lighthouse (see map). You need to complete this mission before you can access The Lighthouse interior, so don’t bother trying to get inside at this point. Make your way to The Gateway area (fighting any vex along the way), and you will come into contact with Agoros, Gatekeeper. Defeat Agoros and try to enter The Gateway, you will not be able to; this will trigger your next objective.

- When you reach the entrance to The Lighthouse, you will notice it is sealed.

- Take out the yellow enemy and then destroy the module.

- The module can be seen floating in the air.

- Shoot the module to destroy it.
When we landed on Mercury, we were greeted by some chatter from a character named Brother Vance. Brother Vance is located inside The Lighthouse. When you are unable to access The Gateway, Brother Vance offers assistance. He wants you to bring Osiris’ Ghost Sagira to him. When this objective is triggered, a ton of ‘new’ Vex will invade and a respawn restricted zone will be created. Run past the Vex and head to The Lighthouse entrance. Here you will need to take out another yellow enemy, and then shoot the module floating above (floating square with laser coming out of it). Head inside The Lighthouse to meet Brother Vance.

When you enter The Lighthouse, you will come face to face with Brother Vance. Talk to Brother Vance to complete The Gateway quest and trigger the next quest, “A Deadly Trial” which is located on the EDZ.

Same problem here.
It won’t let me start The Gateway. It says I have to complete the Destiny 2 story first, which I did. I included a picture of what I am seeing. I am stuck.
