Friday the 13th: The Game New Trailer
Gun Media has used PAX West 2016 as an opportunity to show off a Friday the 13th: The Game new trailer. Friday the 13th: The Game, takes players to Crystal Lake, home of the series gruesome killer Jason Voorhees. The game currently centres on multiplayer, with players playing people on the run from Jason and one player filling the role of Jason himself. Friday the 13th: The Game, does away with the more traditional elements of standard multiplayer games, choosing to focus on survival more then anything else. If players fail to survive, they will be met with one of the grisly deaths shown off in Friday the 13th: The Game new trailer below.
Horror fans are in for a treat as it appears Jason will have plenty of implements of death at his disposal. Another reason this horror title should be on your radar, is that Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, Creepshow, From Dusk till Dawn) is attached as an executive producer, to ensure things are done just right.
With Friday the 13th: The Game being such a huge Kickstarter success, the studio has a lot of hype to live up to. Gun Media appears to have the talent and mindset to handle such a longstanding horror series in Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th: The Game is set to release sometime this October for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
