This may seem obvious, but you can purchase Gun Oil from Gunsmiths in every major town. The town Gunsmith is denoted by a pistol icon on your map. To purchase the Gun Oil, go inside a Gunsmith and browse through the catalogue under the Accessories section. It will cost you $1.50 to buy one usage of Gun Oil. A single usage is good enough to fully repair any weapon from bad to good condition.
Getting Gun Oil while you are out in the open world is not uncommon, but buying a few jugs of gun oil before you head out is definitely a good idea to keep your guns in good condition. That way if you’re out there and don’t find any, you are still good to go.
