Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Story Trailer Drops
A new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare story trailer has been released and it shows off some of the talent involved in the game. Call of Duty has long had a history of attracting talented voice actors. Actors like Jeff Goldblum and recently Keving Spacey have all played major roles in the shooter over the past years. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is following in this tradition with the inclusion of Game of Thrones Kit Harrington and UFC fighter Conor McGregor.
Kit Harrington plays the games main villain Admiral Salen Kotch who players will face off against. Conor McGregor plays Captain Bradley Fillion, Kotch’s second in command. So why exactly are these characters enemies? Well, the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare story trailer gives us a little glimpse as to what has happened. Due to diminishing resources, humanity has gone to space in order to find alternative solutions (I am thinking asteroid mining). Consequently, a splinter group dubbed the Settlement Defense Front, led by Admiral Kotch, attempts to rise up and take control away from the government. Obviously this can’t happen, so this is where you step in to stop this rebellion.
In typical Call of Duty fashion, players can expect set pieces of varying environments. There will be fighting on earth and in space. Due to a Sony exclusive deal, players who pre-order on PS4 get access to the multiplayer beta early. The Sony exclusive beta goes live October 14th. Currently, there is no information on how long the beta will last or what content players will get access to.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 4, 2016.
