Battlstar Games has released a new video showing of gameplay footage of their forthcoming game Escape From Tarkov closed alpha which is currently in progress. The Escape From Tarkov Alpha Gameplay Trailer gives players a glimpse of what to expect from the new shooter.
Escape From Tarkov is an online game which combines multiple genres. The game is a hardcore and realistic online first-person action RPG/Simulator with MMO features and a story-driven walkthrough. Players will choose which faction they are a member of (either USEC or BEAR), then begin to make their way out the city. Things in Tarkov are not great. Players are on their own and must do what is necessary to survive and ultimately escape.
Escape From Tarkov alpha gameplay trailer shows off a bunch of elements of the game players can expect. It appears that environmental conditions change, with day and night cycle, lightning, and changing weather conditions. We are also shown a good bit of combat. Each skirmish appears varied. There is close combat, long range combat, open areas, enclosed spaces and night combat. We also get tot see some of the interfaces for the more RPG elements of the game. Players will have a wide range of customization options on weapons they acquire. Their also appears to be a trading system with NPC merchants.
