Rage 2 How to Access DLC Items
Rage 2 is finally here and fans who pre ordered or bought the game’s Deluxe Edition are owed a few items. As I often do I will be showing you how to access DLC items in Rage 2.
Download Items for Rage 2
Before we go into detail about accessing you DLC items, I must first point out you need to have downloaded the items to access them. This process is done automatically if you purchased the game through the PlayStation/Xbox/PC store, but can be a bit of a pain from retailers.
Those of you who purchased from retailers may have been given a code for you pre-order and Deluxe Edition items. This code needs to be inputted to download your content. How to Access Rage 2 Pre-Order Bonuses
If your pre-ordered any edition of Rage 2 you are owed a number of different items including the Cult of the Death God exclusive mission, the Settlers Pistol, Nicholas Raine Armor, and the Mutant Monster Truck skin. Below I detail how to access each pre-order bonus.
How to Access the “Cult of the Death God” Mission
The Cult of the Death God Mission unlocks shortly after completing the Blackout portion of the main questline. As you drive away from Gunbarrel, John Marshall will ask you to check in on an old friend of his. This starts the questline. After this mission is complete you will unlock the following items:
- Settler Pistol.
- Nicholas Raine Armor.
Where to Find the Mutant Monster Truck
The Mutant Monster Truck can be found under the Vehicles tab on the main screen in Rage 2. Select the monster truck then choose change skin. Select Mutant Monster Truck
How to Access Rage 2 Deluxe/Collector’s Edition Items
Players that picked up the more expensive Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of Rage 2 will receive the items listed in the pre-order bonuses section above as well as a number of Deluxe Edition bonuses. Inside the Deluxe Edition players are owed the following:
- Doom BFG
- Wasteland Wizard Cheat Codes
- Progress Booster
- Battle Standard
- Rise of the Ghosts Expansion
Below I show you how to access each of these Rage 2 Deluxe Edition items.
How to get the Doom BFG
The BFG can be found to the north of Vineland on a hillside in the remains of a meteor. Make your way to the location marked on the map above to find the weapon for yourself.
Where to Access the Wasteland Wizard Cheat Codes
Normally you need to purchase the Wasteland Wizard codes in game to use them in Rage 2, but you already did that with real money! Codes are located under Menu > Settings > Cheats. You can equip the different codes you wish to use from the cheats menu. Keep in mind that cheats will suspend Trophy and Achievement unlocks when active.
How to Find the Progress Booster
The Progress Booster can be found on the cheats page. Select Progress Booster and switch it on to get double all Feltrite collected for 4 hours.
Where to Equip the Battle Standard
The Battle Standard is a flag that can be added to your vehicle. After you’ve unlocked the Phoenix you will have access to a Vehicles tab on your menu screen (next to Projects). Select the Vehicles tab and then select flags. Equip the Battle Standard if you so desire.
How to Access the Rise of the Ghosts Expansion (Summer 2019)
This expansion is slated for release in Summer 2019. I will update this post after the expansion has dropped.
