Fortnite Downtown Drop Back Board Unlocks
Fortnite is currently holding a limited time game mode called Downtown Drop. In this game mode players race down different hills collecting coins and other items to increase their score. The person with the highest score wins! Like any Fortnite mode there are a number of unlocks associated with the Downtown Drop. One particular item is the Back Board Back Bling. Below are all Fortnite Downtown Drop Back Board unlocks.
Back Bling: Back Board
Complete a single challenge in the Downtown Drop game mode to unlock the Back Bling called Back Board which is a skateboard.
Back Board (Rex) Unlock
To unlock the Back Board (Rex) style Back Bling you need to complete the challenge of changing the color of 1000 tiles. This will occur naturally from playing the game mode. Not much else needed on your part.
Back Board (Slurp) Unlock
The Back Board (Slurp) style Back Bling is unlocked by collecting a basketball, coin, and shoe in a single match. Coins are easy to spot and grab, while shoes and basketballs are a bit more rare. Often both items require hitting a jump or going off the beaten path to collect.
Back Board (Cuddle)
To unlock the Back Board (Cuddle) style Back Bling you need to collect six letters hidden throughout the Downtown Drop level. These letters spell out the word ONFIRE. To see each letter location, check out our letter guide.
Back Board (Banana)
The Banana Back Board style Back Bling is unlocked by finding Jonesy in three different locations: near basketball court, near the rooftops, and in the back of a truck. To find these locations check out our Jonesy guide.
Back Board (Kevin) Unlock
To get the Back Board (Kevin) style Back Bling for yourself you need to complete a trickjump on one of three possible jumps in the Downtown Drop level. Find out where to do the trickjump here.
Back Board (Disco) Unlock
The Back Board (Disco) style Back Bling is unlocked by dancing or emoting on the Basketball Court that is located at the bottom of the first hill.
Back Board (Drift) Unlock
The Back Board (Drift) style Back Bling is unlocked by finding two shortcuts in the Downtown Drop mode. Will update when challenge goes live.
Back Board (Fishstick) Unlock
To unlock the Back Board (Fishstick) sytle in Fortnite you need to jump through all 6 flaming hoops in the Downtown Drop mode.
Back Board (Food) Unlock
To unlock the Back Board (Food) style of Back Bling you need to spray an ice cream truck during a Downtown Drop LTM run.
Back Board (Sweaty) Unlock
The final unlock of the Downtown Drop LTM is the Back Board (Sweaty) style Back Bling. This item is unlocked after completing all 13 of the challenges in the Downtown Drop LTM.
