Eevee Evolutions | Pokemon Sun and Moon
One of the Pokemon series’ most iconic characters is none other than Eevee. Fans of the series can rejoice as Eevee returns to the series in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Alongside Eevee’s return, comes the return of the millions (not actually a million, but a lot) of evolutionary forms Eevee can take. Below is a guide to all the Eevee evolutions in Pokemon Sun and Moon.
Where To Get Eevee
In order to start evolving Eevee, you actually have to have one to begin with. Eevee can be found in a few places: on the way to the Pokemon Ranch, as well as along route 5. You can also receive and Eevee in an egg from the Pokemon Breeder’s sister. You want to collect a lot of Eevees if you want all forms
How I did this, was simply combo my Eevee from the egg with Ditto at the breeder and had them pumping out Eevee eggs all day. This ensured I had as many as I needed relatively easy. Ultimately how you decide to get Eevees is up to you, but there are a few options.
Evolving Eevee with Stones
Eevee has 3 forms of evolution that can be triggered by using specific stones:
Vaporeon – The water variant of Eevee can be had by simply using a Water Stone on an Eevee. Water Stones can be found in the open world, but can also be purchased at the Konikoni city’s Olivia’s jewelry shop for 3,000.
Jolteon – The electric variant of Eevee can be had by simply using a Thunder Stone on an Eevee. Lightning Stones can be found in the open world, but can also be purchased at the Konikoni city’s Olivia’s jewelry shop for 3,000.
Flareon – The fire variant of Eevee can be had by simply using a Fire Stone on an Eevee. Fire Stones can be found in the open world, but can also be purchased at the Konikoni city’s Olivia’s jewelry shop for 3,000.
Evolving Eevee Through Happiness
Eevee has 3 forms of evolution that can be triggered once Eevee has a high happiness value (above 220 is good):
Espeon – Get Eevee’s happiness level high (above 220 is good), then evolve it during the day time. Then level it up.
Umbreon – Get Eevee’s happiness level high (above 220 is good), then evolve it during the night time. Then level it up.
Sylveon – Get Eevee’s happiness to at least two hearts and have it learn a fairy move. Now level up the Pokemon.
Evolving Eevee Through Environment
Eevee has 2 forms of evolution that can be triggered by certain environmental interactions:
Leafeon – Have an Eevee in your party and head to Lush Jungle, which is close to Route 8. Go inside, look for the Moss Stone which is ‘ soft to touch ‘. Level up Eevee and it will become Leafeon
Glaceon – Have an Eevee in your party and head to Mount Lanakila. Interact with the Icy Stone found there. Level up Eevee near the stone and it will become Glaceon.
