Boss Weapons in Remnant From the Ashes

Boss weapons can be created from materials dropped from world bosses. These materials can be taken to McGabe on Ward 13. She will craft you weapons from what materials you give her plus Scrap.

Sporebloom (The Ent)

How to Unlock: Defeat the Ent without breaking its legs to receive the Spore Gland.

Weapon Text: “These blooms are what leveled the countryside outside city limits. I always wondered why that monster never came at us here, but I sure as hell ain’t complaining.”

Petrified Maul (The Ent)

How to Unlock: Defeat the Ent after breaking its legs to receive the Twisted Heart.

Weapon Text: “Ain’t the most practical thing, but whatever you hit sure as hell ain’t getting back up.”

Spitfire (Singe)

How to Unlock: Kill Singe without breaking its tail to get the Blazing Heart.

Weapon Text: “The Dragon’s been here since the beginning, hidden in the depths of the rusted places. Hell if I know why it’s coming at us now, but I guarantee it ain’t the worst the Root’s got down there.”

Smolder (Singe)

How to Unlock: Kill Singe after destroying its tail to receive the Dragon Links.

Weapon Text: “The Dragon’s dead, but the Root’s just getting started. We’re in for a hell of a ride, kid, so you best gear up.”

Defiler (The Harrow)

How to Unlock: Defeat The Harrow on Rohm to receive the Thermal Geode.

Weapon Text: “Only the Akari know how much knowledge has been lost, but much can still be made of this withered, irradiated world.”

The Lost Harpoon (The Harrow)

How to Unlock: At the start of the fight, focus damage on The Harrow’s legs. This will cause it to kneel. Run behind and interact with its back to get The Lost Harpoon.

Weapon Text: “One of the few Buri known by name, Kelemorn’s defeat at the Black Gate is legendary. It is said he slaughtered twenty Vyr, his spear engorging itself on the strength of each victim before Kelemorn fell.”

Particle Accelerator (Claviger)

How to Unlock: Kill Claviger before he has a chance to absorb any adds for health. This will earn you the Void Sliver material.

Weapon Text: “Before the Basha rebelled, they harnessed the power of the Kel-Hur into weapons, but it was Old Var, shrewdest of the weaponsmiths, who thought to use Black Sun Dust as both power source and projectile.”

World Breaker (Claviger)

How to Unlock: Kill Claviger after he has absorbed adds for health. This will earn you the Stone of the Guardian material.

Weapon Text: “Worldbreaker, Cinderstorm, Rootbane, weapons like this were legendary during the fifty-year war with the Guar’ee. Like so much else, they were thought lost to the Cataclysm that cleansed the world.”

Riven (Undying King)

How to Unlock: Give the Undying King the Guardian’s Heart.

Weapon Text: “King Ezlan co-opted a variety of technologies to prolong his life–living circuits, biomechanical organs, nanoflesh. It only makes sense to weaponize them.”

Ruin (Undying King)

How to Unlock: Refuse to give the Undying King the Guardian’s Heart then defeat him. 

Weapon Text: “Long before the Cataclysm, when Vyr first hunted the Basha, hybrid weapons like this were commonplace. To see such a thing again is to witness the might and mistakes of the past.”

Devastator (The Unclean One)

How to Unlock: Defeat The Unclean One in The Shack.

Weapon Text: “The goal of the vyxworm appears to be destruction and consumption, not unlike the Root.”

Hive Cannon (IXILLUS)

How to Unlock: Defeat IXILLUS to get the Hive Stone.

Weapon Text: “The hive breeds and consumes. It cares only for itself, considering all else to be a threat.”

Guardian Axe (IXILLUS)

How to Unlock: Kill both bosses near the same time so neither one can enrage.

Weapon Text: “The Iskal eschews technology… but it is not ignorant of it.”

Eye of the Storm (Totem Father)

How to Unlock: Defeat the Totem Father to earn the Totem Antler.

Weapon Text: “The spirit of the jungle empowers us all. Guardian of the sky, guide into darkness–those who do not heed are lost forever.”

Voice of the Tempest (Totem Father)

How to Unlock: Defeat the Totem Father while the totem outside the boss arena is blue (shoot it to change colors). This will earn you the Tempest Heartstring.

Weapon Text: “Listen, and the jungle will not speak. Speak, and the jungle will not hear. But live, and in the jungle you will find life.”

Curse of the Jungle God (The Ravager)

How to Unlock: Defeat The Ravager to earn the Tentacle Pod.

Weapon Text: “The Vaunnt had seen visions of the Black Wolf long before it appeared, but the promise of life was so great that they hid this from their kin. The Pan nearly paid for this with their lives.”

Scar of the Jungle God (The Ravager)

How to Unlock: Play The Ravager’s Lullaby inside the boss arena. Speak to The Ravager.

Weapon Text: “The jungle has given us life and nourished us. We will hold this debt all our lives, until our blood nourishes the jungle once more.”

Repulsor (Dreamer/Nightmare)

How to Unlock: Defeat the final boss Dreamer and Nightmare to receive the Dreamer’s Mana.

Weapon Text: “We didn’t know it, but we had torn down our own protection–we invited them. With the walls of our world gone, all we had left to fight the Root with.. was the Root.”
