How to Unlock Characters in Super Mario Run
Super Mario Run is out and has been seeing a huge amount of popularity. Fans of the Italian Plumber are running, jumping and making their way through the Mushroom Kingdom on their Apple IOS. However, if you are sick of seeing the man in red and blue, the game features a bunch of beloved Mario characters to unlcok. Unlock Luigi
No Mario game is complete without Mario’s brother, Luigi and Super Mario Run is no different. In order to unlock Luigi, players need to purchase “Luigi’s House“. To do this, players need to collect 150 Green Toads and 150 Purple Toads in the “Toad Rally” game mode.
Luigi can jump higher than any other character in Super Mario Run.
Unlock Toad
Mushroom hat wearing Toad, is another character which makes his return in Super Mario Run. Probably the easiest character to unlock, all that is require to unlock Toad is linking your MyNintendo account to the game. That’s it!
Both Toad and Toadette are the fastest characters in the game.
Unlock Toadette
Like Luigi, Toadette can be unlocked by purchasing a house. The house which unlocks Toadette is called, “Toadette House“. To unlock, players will need to collect 200 Red Toads, 200 Blue Toads, and 200 Green Toads in the game mode “Toad Rally“.
Both Toad and Toadette are the fastest characters in the game.
Unlock Princess Peach
There can’t be a Mario title without Peach and again Super Mario Run is no exception. To unlock the always getting kidnapped princess, simply beat every level of the “World Tour” mode.
Princess Peach can glide through the air for a short amount of time (like in every other game)
Unlock Yoshi
Last but certainly not least is green dinosaur Yoshi. Yoshi is unlocked the same way as both Luigi and Toadette. As you have probably guessed by now, the house needed to unlock Yoshi is called, “Yoshi’s House“. To unlock this house, collect 30 Red Toads and 30 Yellow Toads in the “Toad Rally” mode.
