As soon as you enter the room you will be prompted to light a lamp using the QTE – Square. Do this then wait to reply with this.

  1. ASSERTIVE “Take some action”

If Fliss found the Secret #26: Guard Duty Note in the previous chapter she will be able to talk to Alex and can say the following:

  1. SERIOUS “I overheard them talking about Manchurian Gold”
  2. LIVELY “We need to find a way out of this room”

At this point you can move around as Fliss. Take this opportunity to grab a couple of collectibles.

Collectible: Secret #44: 1947 Newspaper

This collectible is located on the right side of the table in the middle of the room.

Collectible: Secret #28: Private Miller’s Letter

You will find this collectible next to Julia who is in the left side of the room.

Once you have both collectibles make your way o the box beside Alex. Push the back to the left out of the way of a vent. At this Alex will come over and will work on the vent. Wait a few minutes then head over and speak to him:

  1. CONFIDENT: “This is the way out”
  2. DISTRACT
  3. REPLACE

Alex, Julia, and Fliss will all enter the vent. This allows them to escape and triggers the next chapter, An Escape.
