Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Lunar Spelunker Bounty
Once you’ve completed the main story of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep you will unlock a number of end game activities. One end game activity comes in the form of the side mission, Memory of Sai Mota. This side mission begins by tasking you with completing the Lunar Spelunker weekly bounty. This guide will show you how to complete the Lunar Spelunker bounty.
Get Lunar Spelunker Bounty from Eris Morn
To start, once you’ve completed the final mission of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, make your way back to Eris Morn in Sanctuary. Here you can pick up the Memory of Sai Mota mission as well as the Lunar Spelunker weekly bounty. The Lunar Spelunker bounty tasks you with completing the following:
- K1 Communion Lost Sector Looted.
- K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector Looted.
- K1 Logistics Lost Sector Looted.
Completing all three of the above mentioned Lost Sectors will reward you with the Firewall Data Fragment, a necessary component for the Memory of Sai Mota mission.
Loot Lost Sectors
There are a total of four Lost Sectors for players to complete on the Moon. These Lost Sectors play out like previous Lost Sectors on other planets as you will need to fight your way to a final room and kill a boss. Once this boss is dead you will be able to unlock the chest in that room.
K1 Communion Lost Sector Looted
In the Anchor of Light area there is a cluster of buildings with blue flags on their roofs. Inside the basement of these buildings you will find the entrance to K1 Communion. The boss at the end of this Lost Sector is Nightmare of Rizaahn, The Lost. Defeat him and loot the chest here to mark it off the list.
K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector Looted
In the southwest corner of the Hellmouth area you will find an entrance. Go inside then drop into the cave below. Platform across the rocks to reach the K1 Communion Crew Quarters Lost Sector. The boss at the end of this Lost Sector is Nightmare of Reykis, Actuator. Defeat this boss and loot the chest here.
K1 Logistics Lost Sector Looted
The final Lost Sector we need to loot is located in the Archer’s Line area. Head to the bottom of the building in the northwest corner Archer’s Line to find the entrance to the K1 Logistics Lost Sector. Drop down the shaft with 07 on it to reach the area. The boss here is Nightmare of Kelnix Reborn. Defeat it and collect the chest here. You can also grab the the secret Orbital Cartographer Emblem if you’re interested.
Once you have all three Lost Sectors looted be sure to claim the Bounty from your Quest screen. After the Bounty is claimed you will receive the Firewall Data Fragment Quest Step which will allow you to start the Memory of Sai Mota mission.
