Fast Travel Using Flying Taxi
At the start of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield you are tasked with making your way to Motostoke to access the stadium there. Inside the stadium you learn about the eight gym leaders in the game and the Gym Challenge. After you’ve visited the stadium you will exit to head to Route 3. When you exit a man will approach you. He will give you the Flying Taxi. This Flying Taxi serves as the game’s fast travel system. With the Flying Taxi you can return to any location you’ve already visited. Simply open your map and select a destination to be sent there instantly. This fast travel is very useful if you wish to split time between heading to gyms and catching Pokemon in the Wild Area.
