Pokemon Championship Trainers and Pokemon List for Pokemon Shield

After you’ve collected all eight of the badges in Pokemon Shield you will make your way to . Here you will take part in the Gym Championship which sees you fighting through a few trainers to be crowned the best. To help you know what you are going up against use the Pokemon Championship Trainers and Pokemon list below.

What Pokemon Does Marnie Use in Championship Finals?

The first semifinals round has you facing off against Marnie. Marnie has a total of five Pokemon she uses during the fight. Here are the Pokemon Marnie uses in the semifinals:

  1. Liepard (Lv.47).
  2. Scrafty (Lv.47).
  3. Toxicroak (Lv.47).
  4. Morpeko (Lv.48)
  5. Grimmsnarl (Lv.49).

Upon defeat of Marnie you will advance to another round of the semifinals. In this round you faceoff against Hop.

What Pokemon Does Hop Use in Championship Finals?

The second semifinals round has you facing off against Hop. Hop has a total of five Pokemon he uses during the fight. Much of Hop’s party is similar to the party make up you’ve fought throughout the game. Here’s what he has:

  1. Dubwool (Lv.48).
  2. Snorlax (Lv.47).
  3. Pincurchin (Lv.47).
  4. Corviknight (Lv.48).
  5. Starter (Lv.49).

After you defeat Hop you will advance to the finals of the Pokemon Championship. Before the championship match you will need to complete a bit of story and face off against a familiar trainer.

What Pokemon Does Bede Use in Championship Finals?

Before you can face off against Leon you will need to fight Bede. Bede is a disgraced former challenger who is now allowed to challenge you. Bede uses the following four Pokemon during the fight:

  1. Mawile (Lv.51).
  2. Gardevoir (Lv.51).
  3. Rapidash (Lv.52).
  4. Hatterene (Lv.53).

Upon defeat of Bede you will return to the locker room where you will rest up. After this you can take to the pitch to face off against Nessa.

What Pokemon Does Nessa Use in Championship Finals?

Nessa is the gym leader in . You fought her to get the Water Gym Badge. She specializes in using Water-type Pokemon. The five Pokemon Nessa uses during the fight are:

  1. Golisopod (Lv.51).
  2. Barraskewda (Lv.52).
  3. Seaking (Lv.52).
  4. Pelipper (Lv.51).
  5. Drednaw (Lv.53).

Once you defeat Nessa you will return to the locker room to rest. After this head back onto the pitch to face off against Gym Leader Bea.

What Pokemon Does Gym Leader Bea Use in Championship Finals?

Bea is the gym leader in . You fought her to get the Fighting Gym Badge. She specializes in using Fighting-type Pokemon. The five Pokemon Bea uses during the fight are:

  1. Hawlucha (Lv.52).
  2. Falinks (Lv.53).
  3. Grapploct (Lv.52).
  4. Sirfetch’d (Lv.53).
  5. Machamp (Lv.54).

Defeating Bea takes you unto the next match against Raihan. Raihan is the final fight between you and Leon. Almost there.

What Pokemon Does Raihan Use in Championship Finals?

Raihan is the gym leader in Hammerlocke. You fought him to get the Dragon Gym Badge. He specializes in using Dragon-type Pokemon. The five Pokemon Raihan uses during the fight are:

  1. Torkoal (Lv.53).
  2. Flygon (Lv.54).
  3. Goodra (Lv.54).
  4. Turtanator (Lv.54).
  5. Duraludon (Lv.55).

Defeating Raihan allows you to advance to the fight with Leon. This fight is the final fight of the game before you are crowned Pokemon Champion.

What Pokemon Does Leon Use in Championship Finals?

After you save the Galar region from The Darkest Day the championship final will commence. The last person you will fight during the Pokemon Championship is Leon. Leon is unbeaten. Leon uses a party of five Pokemon. You can see the Pokemon he uses below:

  1. Aegislash (Lv.62).
  2. Haxorus (Lv.63).
  3. Mr.Rime (Lv.64).
  4. Inteleon (Lv.64).
  5. Dragapult (Lv.62).
  6. Charizard (Lv.65).

Once you’ve defeated Leon you will be crowned the Pokemon Champion of the Galar region. This ends Pokemon Sword.
