Where to Find the Zoologist NPC in Terraria 1.4
The final update for Terraria is upon us and that means new NPCs. The new NPCs in the Journey’s End update are the Zoologist and the Golfer. Both NPCs are attached to new gameplay additions players will wish to unlock for their game’s. To help you get these NPCs for yourself I’ve put together a guide for each of them. How to Get the Zoologist NPC in Terraria 1.4
The Zooligist NPC is a new addition to Terraria alongside the Bestiary. The Bestiary is a running log of the various enemy and NPCs you’ve encountered on your World (not tied to character). When you defeat (or meet) enemies and NPCs on your world you will unlock a page in your bestiary pertaining to the thing you encountered. This page features useful information on the thing you’ve encountered allowing you to learn things like drops, health, rarity, etc. Alongside this useful book the Zoologist will deliver tangible benefits for discoveries made in the Bestiary. Now that’s all well and good, but how do you get the Zoologist to appear?
To get the Zoologist to appear on your world you need to complete 10% of your Bestiary which is 52 entries. These entries come from defeating enemies and talking to NPCs. Once you reach this mark make sure you have a house the Zoologist can move into. Once moved in you can speak to the Zoologist as you progress the Bestiary to receive various rewards like pets, unique kites, minecarts and much more.
