Secret Cave Guide – Vigil: The Longest Night
The Secret Trail leads right to the Secret Cave area of Vigil: The Longest Night. Inside this cave system there are a number of enemies and items to discover. To complete the main quest in the game you will need to complete this area to learn more about the mysterious disappearances that have been occurring. Secret Cave Map and Guide
From the entrance ride the elevator up to the area above you. Exit the elevator and climb up the ladder to the platform on your right. Take out the dog there and open the chest to get 20x Poison Arrows. Jump across the gap to the left and take out the enemy on the platform. Jump across the next gap and take out the two enemies there. Continue left and drop down.
Continue dropping down the wood platforms until you see a room with two enemies on your right. Take out both of these enemies and grab Bruna’s Diary, Part 1 from off the operating table. Head left and drop down again to reach the Cave Key.
What Door the Cave Key Opens
If you wish to use the cave key backtrack all the way to the start of the area and get on the elevator. About halfway down jump to the door on your right. Open the door to access a room with a treasure chest. Inside this chest is the Emerald Ring.
Once you’ve opened the door and grabbed the ring make your way all the way back to wear you found the key. Head to the right and follow the path to find a broken elevator. Head back and go down when you are able to reach the area below. Go right along this path and take out the 5 enemies until you reach the end. Grab the Elevator Lever and Mysterious Manuscript before going back to the broken elevator.
Insert the Elevator Lever and ride the elevator all the way up. Get off and head right. Defeat the enemy in this room then grab the Health Potion, open the chest to get Armor – Percival Gloves, and the Small Shimmering Stone to the right. Once you have all of these items get back on the elevator and ride it back down. Return to the area you found the lever in.
In the middle of the room you found the Elevator Lever there is an alter on top of a wooden bridge. Drop down here to go to the area below. Grab the Bruna’s Diary, Part 2 off the stone ledge and head to the right to return to the Secret Trail.
