Plane Crash Guide for Amnesia: Rebirth
After the opening cutscene in Amnesia: Rebirth you will take control of Tasi Trannon on an airplane. As this is a horror title the idyllic opening quickly turns chaotic as the plane crashes. To help you navigate the first level in the game use our Amnesia: Rebirth plane crash guide below.
How to Exit the Plane
When you come to you will be face-down on the floor of the airplane. Struggle when prompted then crawl forward towards the front of the plane. About half-way you will see a medicine bottle on the floor. Pick it up to trigger a sequence where you have a flashback then sit in the plane seat.
After you sit down grab the notepad from the holder in front of you. You will then stand up and be able to explore the plane. Once you’ve looked where you want to look head into the cockpit. Here you can interact with the red button on the centre console. After this look on the floor to the left to find the Plane Door lever next to the plane door. Open you inventory and use it on the door to exit the plane.
How to reach the Camp
Outside of the plane you will be in a desert area. From the plane head straight to the crate on the hill. When you approach the crate you will trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene simply follow the fairly linear path forward that has luggage strewn along it. At the end of the path you will reach a cave entrance that leads to the next area with the camp. Interact with the cave opening to enter a new area called The Caves.
