Aelfred’s Battle-Sow – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Guide
In the Suthsexe area of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla there is a legendary animal players can hunt called Aelfred’s Battle-Sow. This large bull is one of nine legendary animals players can hunt as part of the Master Hunter Trophy/Achievement. Besides progress towards the achievement completing this hunt also earns XP, materials, and area mystery progress. To help you find and defeat this legendary bull we’ve put together the guide below.

Where to Find Aelfred’s Battle-Sow
Hunting Log: “Aelfred is so desperate they say he hath realized that cattle make for better warriors than Saxons. Training calves will only do him harm, as it adds to his folly. However, the calves themselves have supped on blood instead of milk, and appear as though they seek the bosom of Hell in order to suck it into a frenzy.”
The Aelfred’s Battle-Sow is a large legendary bull players can hunt in Suthsexe, England. This legendary animal can be found on the Tuicca’s Farm to the east of Briggsworth. When you reach the farm you will see the bulls in the field beside it. If you enter the fenced in area you will trigger the boss fight against Aelfred’s Battle-Sow. The boss is the largest bull in the pen. You will notice a number of other bulls around. These bulls are ads that play into the fight.
How to Defeat Aelfred’s Battle-Sow
The Aelfred’s Battle-Sow is a fairly easy fight since it has two phases. The first phase you will only pull agro from the legendary bull. During this phase you can ignore the other bulls in the pen as they will stay passive against you. Once you reach the second phase (about half-health) the legendary bull will back off and the smaller bulls will attack you. During the second phase you can simply run around, avoiding the ads while shooting Aelfred’s Battle-Sow until it dies.
As I have been doing I recommend stocking up on Rations before entering the fight. Also ensure you are somewhat near the power recommendation for this fight as you will be wasting your time otherwise. Before you enter the boss arena be sure to make a save so you can quick load there and try again if needed.
Rewards for Defeating Aelfred’s Battle-Sow
Like other legendary animals you will receive a number of rewards for felling this creature. Upon defeat you will earn XP, +1 Suthsexe Mystery, +85 Leather materials, and the Petra’s Arc (Predator Bow). Once you turn the head into Wallace the head is mounted in your Longhouse at the settlement.

According to Assassin’s Creed wiki; The bow is rewarded when all legendary animals are defeated.
For some reason I am not awarded the bow, am I doing something wrong? I did break up with petra in the early game, so could it be the rewards are bugged??

I got the bow when I gave Wallace the head as a trophy
