Returning to Cayo Perico for More Reconnaissance

If you didn’t snag everything during the story mission and you wish to head back to the island to do more recon you can. This option is available to you through the Planning Screen. Approach the screen and interact with it. When you are on the Intel screen select the Gather Intel option to start a return mission then head over to VIP Charter Jets at the airport to fly to the island.

Back on the island you will start at the party on the beach. From here you need to leave out of either the North Gate or South Gate. Once you are out of the party area you are free to explore the island for intel as you like. Keep in mind as you explore that you have a limited number of times you can be caught by the guards (like 5-8). Once they catch you enough they will send you back to Los Santos. Alongside the guards you will encounter a surveillance helicopter that launches if you stay on the island for a while. If the helicopter catches you, you get sent back immediately.

    • James Williford says:

I stole a boat at the north dock, went around the map to the back of El Rubios compound and dove into the water behind the house. The drainage tunnel is down there. Pavel will say something when you get close to it.

    • Nick Maniscalco says:

If you go to the rear of the compound, in the water, you’ll find the drainage tunnel
