The newest update for Genshin Impact is on its way and with it comes a number of new additions to the game. Dubbed the 1.3 update this new download for the game will add a number of new elements including a new character named Xiao, new equipment, new events and more. 1.3 Update Release Date & Time in Genshin Impact
The 1.3 update for Genshin Impact is slated to release on 2021/02/03 06:00:00 (UTC+8). This is the release date that has been given directly by miHoYo. So what does this mean for you exactly? Well if you really want to nail down the date and time for yourself I recommend logging into the game. Once you are in the game make your way to Notices > Version 1.3 Update Notice. On this page scroll down to Update Schedule and you will see when the update is slated to drop in your time zone. For me (who lives in an MST zone) maintenance begins at 3:00 pm on the February 2.
Once maintenance begins miHoYo expects it to take roughly 5 hours to complete. As a reward for the down time the developers are giving players 50x Primogems per hour down. This means you can expect to receive a total of 300x Primogems from the maintenance down time. The only caveat to receiving this reward is that you are at least Adventure Rank 5 in the game. If you meet the requirements you will receive in-game mail within 5 hours with your Primogems.
