Absolver Guide PvE
Tutorial
When you begin Absolver, you run through a brief tutorial area. Here you learn the intricacies of the game’s controls by facing off against ai enemies. The tutorial is very linear in direction so I will only highlight a few areas to go.

- This gate stops you from completing the tutorial.
After making your way from the starting area to this gate, you will get a mission to complete before you can advance. The mission here is to kill the gatekeeper Silan. To find Silan, look to the right when facing the locked gate. Make your way up the stairs you see here and fight your way past the enemies. Take the stairs to the left of the training dummy and you will find Silan.

Silan is a bit harder than any of the enemies we have fought up to this point, but is still rather manageable. The key to succeeding in Absolver fights is to be patient and defensive. Wait for openings in the enemy’s attacks and exploit them to deal massive strings of damage. When you kill Silan, the gate can be opened.
Through The Gate

- The practice mode is incredibly important
After making your way through the gate, you will meet Talem. Talem acts as a sort of guide throughout your wanderings in Absolver. Here he tells you about the practice mode and Combat Deck Editor. This mode is incredibly useful and can be used to kite out your character as you see fit. After playing around in the Combat Deck Editor, exit out and continue onward. You will have to defeat three waiting enemies before you can fully advance out of the tutorial.
Learning our Quest
The Headstone gives a general idea as to where the targets are located.
After a brief cutscene, you will regain control on Guidance Bridge. Here the only direction you can go is forwards. Eventually you will reach the the hub of Absolver. This area features an Altar as well as a Headstone with glowing dots on it. The Headstone acts as a map and shows all the enemies we need to defeat. In total there are nine major enemies to defeat:
- Kuretz in the Coliseum
- Kilnor and Caragal in the old bird house
- Six Marked One in the City and Forest
- Risryn in the Hanging Gardens of the Tower of Adal (last boss)
With the quest laid out, let’s head to the first boss Kuretz in the Coliseum.
