Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Gets Release Date, Announces Epic Exclusivity
The creative director behind the first two Assassin’s Creed games has been working with his studio Panache Digital on Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, and we now have a release date. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will release on PC August 27th as a one year exclusive on the Epic Store. To mark the release date announcement check out a new trailer that has been released showing off some gameplay.

In Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey players take on the role of a clan of early hominid which evolves through time to evolve into a new species. The game takes place in an open world setting where moving the clan will be required in order to survive (need three things: food, shelter, water). To restrict movement out in the open world, the creatures will face fear. Fear cases areas to be harder to explore and requires dopamine to conquer. If you have enough dopamine you can conquer your fear resulting in claiming more territories for your clan. Ensuring their survival.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will release on PC on August 27. PS4 and Xbox One versions will release in December 2019.
