Borderlands 3: How to Access Guns, Love, and Tentacles The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock DLC
The second DLC expansion for Borderlands 3 is now out. This new story expansion takes players to the ice planet of Xylourgos to attend the engagement party for Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs. Like any DLC you will need to access this DLC to play. To help you start this new DLC check out the how to access Guns, Love, and Tentacles The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock DLC below.
Note: Getting to the planet Xylourgos is currently bugged on Epic Games. Gearbox has acknowledged this and says it should be fixed shortly.
Download the Guns, Love, and Tentacles The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock DLC + Title Update
Before you can play the DLC you need to install it and the most recent title update. This means buying the DLC ($14.99) if you don’t have it already. Once you have ownership over the DLC you will need to download the DLC content from your store of purchase. The Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC download is roughly 5.47 GB in size. Alongside this DLC there is a title update. This title update is 8.5 GB in size. Download this title update alongside the DLC. Once both downloads are complete launch Borderlands 3 and head to Sanctuary III.
Interact with Invitation on Sanctuary III and Head to Xylourgos
After you’ve downloaded the Update and DLC head to Sanctuary III and go to Hammerlock’s room. Inside the room on the table is an invitation to The Party Out of Space. This invitation tasks you with heading to the planet called Xylourgos. To navigate to Xylourgos head to the bridge and access the ship’s computer to reach this new planet.
Once on the planet you will start the new DLC. This DLC contains a number of new additions like weapons, enemies, bosses, and collectibles to find. Good luck.
