Borderlands 3: The Spendopticon Crew Challenges Guide
The first story DLC is now available for Borderlands 3 and with it comes new Crew Challenges. That’s right, those hidden collectibles you can find across the different maps are part of the Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC. The first area with these collectibles is The Spendopticon. Below you will find our complete The Spendopticon Crew Challenges guide.
The Spendopticon Crew Challenges Locations Map
Inside The Spendopticon there are a total of 4 Crew Challenges to complete. I’ve thrown together a map showing all their locations (see above). I also show more details below.
Pieces of Resistance #1: On Top of Casino Entrance
You will find this Pieces of Resistance on top of a Casino entrance in The Spendopticon. To reach it get on top of the hedges to the east and use the metal girder to jump across to the roof. Plant the explosives to get 1/2 Pieces of Resistance in this area.
Pieces of Resistance #2: On Top of Casino Entrance
This Pieces of Resistance can be found on a roof in the Market District. Use the platform on the northwest corner of the roof to get up to it. Once you are up there blow it up to reach 2/2.
Torgue’s Marketing Mistake #1: On Light in Room with Focalizer
The first bottle of Hot Sauce you can find inside the room with the Focalizer. This bottle is located on top of a light in this room. Shoot the Hot Sauce to collect it.
Torgue’s Marketing Mistake #2: Above Rocks on Rafter
The second bottle of Torgue’s hot sauce can be found inside The Burning Pocket area of The Spendopticon. This bottle is a bit hard to get as you need to climb the rock in the middle of the room so you reach the rafters. Once you’ve done this the bottle is inside a yellow container.
Mayor’s Killer Look #1: Evil Saint Lawrence in The Burning Pocket
To get the mayor targets to appear you first need to meet the mayor in the storyline and advance it until you do a mission to get a suit for the heist. Once this is done you will see the Mayor’s Killer Look appear on your map. This one is inside The Burning Pocket area at the location marked on the map above. Kill the enemy to get complete this Crew Challenge.
Mayor’s Killer Look #2: Junpai Goat Eater in Velvet Shuffle
Junpai Goat Eater can be found in the Velvet Shuffle area in the Vice District. This area houses the hot springs. He appears when you enter the hot springs that have the statue of Handsome Jack lounging inside it. Kill this enemy to complete this Crew Challenge.
