How to Catch Cosmog | Pokemon Sun and Moon
Cosmog is a Nebula Pokemon, who plays a key role in the main story of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Cosmog is carried around in Lillie’s handbag throughout the majority of the Pokemon Sun and Moon and always seems to be getting people into trouble. Like me, you may be wondering where they can get your hands on one of these Nebula Pokemon. The following is my short guide on how to catch Cosmog (sort of).
Where to Catch Cosmog
Cosmog, the Pokemon who starts it all, can be yours after becoming Pokemon League Champion. Once you have completed the main game, head back to the Alter of Sunne (during the night) or Alter Moone (during the day) with either Solgaleo or Lunala in your party. Once there, you will find a portal which will take you to the alternate world. From here head to the Lake of the Sunne, or Lake of the Moone; here you will encounter the Legendary Pokemon from the other version. The Legendary Pokemon in your party, and the opposite copy Legendary will converse for a short cutscene. Once this sequence is complete, Cosmog will appear and you can choose to take it! Cosmog can evolve at level 43 into Cosmoem and then again at level 53 into either Solgaleo or Lunala (depending on your copy of the game).
Like Type: Null, Cosmog is pretty simple to get. All it requires is going to a certain location, no battles, no save scumming, nothing. Once you have Cosmog, enjoy! You now have the Pokemon who is single handedly responsible for everything that happens in the story of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Just note that Cosmog is pretty useless until you evolve it…
