Cuphead Boss List
Inkwell Hell (2 Bosses)
- Casino/King Dice
- The Devil
There are two main boss fights in Inkwell Hell. Completing these two boss fights completes Cuphead.
Casino/King Dice
Difficult: Insanity
Location: There are only two possible places to go in Inkwell Hell. The Casino is the only one accessible when you enter. Beating Casino and King Dice unlocks The Devil fight.
The Casino and King Dice is probably one of the hardest segments of Cuphead (even harder then the Devil imo), as it is basically a test of endurance. The idea behind this fight is essentially to complete a boss rush all the way to the King Dice boss fight. This is done in the form of a Craps game where Cuphead rolls the die to determine who he will fight. There are 9 bosses you can potentially fight in this section. If you want to see all the fights, watch this Boss Fight Database video.
- Tipsy Troop: Boss fight consists of three alcoholic beverages who do different attacks.
- Chips Bettigan: A stack of poker chips.
- Mr. Wheezy: A lit cigar in an ashtray.
- Pip and Dot: A domino piece.
- Hopus Pocus: A rabbit in a hat.
- Phear Lap: A skeleton horse at a racetrack.
- Pirouletta: A Roulette wheel.
- Mangosteen: An 8 Ball
- Mr. Chimes: A monkey and cymbal.
After completing the boss rush, you will face off against King Dice.
King Dice
King Dice is a relatively simple boss fight with only one phase. In the phase, King Dice will set his hand on the table and release a number of marching playing cards. You need to parry the pink cards to avoid damage. Focus the head and this section is easy!
The Devil
Difficulty: Insanity
Location: To the right of the Casino you will find the Devil’s lair.
The Devil has four phases to complete before the fight is done:
Phase 1 (Devil on Throne): Phase 1 sees the Devil sitting on his throne. In this phase you need to target the Devil’s head to do damage. While the Devil is on his throne, minions spawn randomly during the fight and enter the battle via the left or right sides of the screen (watch for the direction they will enter by seeing the spawn in the background).
The Devil has a number of attacks he uses during phase 1 of the fight. The first attack is essentially a clap. The Devil stretches his arms from both the left and right sides of the screen to clap in the middle (can be ducked). Like the clap, another attack sees the Devil stretch his head which enters from either the left or right side of the screen. Another attack sees the Devil’s head turn into a spider which will then drop from the top of the screen repeatedly. The last two attacks the Devil uses are similar in fashion. The Devil summons either flames or balls into the arena.
Once you deal enough damage to the Devil in phase 1, he will jump out of his skin and drop through a hole in the floor. Follow behind him and enter phase 2.
Phase 2 (Devil Head + 5 Platforms): In phase 2 you land on top of a floating platform in front of a giant Devil head. In this phase you mainly need to watch out for environmental dangers. The Devil will spawn in homing axes and bombs. While this is happening, flaming poker chips will drop from the top onto random platforms. In phase 2, you want to put as much damage onto the Devil’s eyes as possible. This will trigger phase 3.
Phase 3 (Devil Head + 3 Platforms): Phase 3 is similar to phase 2 but there are less platforms (only 3) and range enemies spawn on both the left and right side of the screen. Once you get towards the end of this phase, bats will spawn on top of the screen. After you deal enough damage in this phase, both the left and right platforms drop away leaving only the middle platform and phase 4 to complete.
Phase 4 (Devil Head + 1 Platform): Phase 4 is easy compared to the previous phases. In this stage, the Devil cries while poker chips fall on the only platform. Avoid the poker chips and damage the Devil’s face to finish the boss fight.
After beating the Devil, you will have completed Cuphead! Congrats. Enjoy the ending and look forward to doing all the things you may have missed in your first playthrough. As always, thanks for reading this guide; I hope you found it usefull!

Thank you and here is a link for more cut content: http://cuphead.wikia.com/wiki/Unused_and_Reworked_Content !
It looks like I have a lot of editing to do. Thanks for this!
Bro. If you use your drop bombs in the last stage of the Wally Warbles- fight, you don’t even need to shoot the heart. To me, after Baroness von Bon Bon, this was the easiest fight.
Wow. Thanks for doing this guys. This list helped me a lot.
Holy crap. Do you not pay any attention to the context of the boss fights? It’s not an homage to Anime.
