Curse of the Pharaohs Footage
The third major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins will introduce new areas for players to explore including Thebes and the Valley of the Kings. Alongside new locales comes a number of new enemies including the legions of the dead which appear out of the sand. Among the legions of the undead will be undead kings who Bayek will need to defeat twice – once in the present, and once in the afterlife. Alongside the legions of the undead are also giant scorpions which appear to be the size of small cars.
From a story perspective, we learn that Bayek is hunting down stolen artifacts from grave robbers who have stolen their plunder from the tombs of ancient kings. These artifacts are believed to be causing the appearance of the undead pharaohs and must be recovered to stop the problem.
Curse of the Pharaohs hits on March 13.
