Cyberpunk 2077 Romances Guide
In Cyberpunk 2077 there are a number of NPCs you can forge interesting relationships with. These NPCs will help you on your journey through Night City offering you their expertise in the street and erhm… beneath the sheets. - There are four romances you can pursue in the game.
- You can be in multiple relationships at once.
- Relationships unlock new locations you can crash at.
- Every relationship side quest ends with a date.

“Fun” with Joytoys
The quick and dirtiest way to get a little bit of romance in your life is to pay for it. In Night City you will encounter Joytoys on various streets corners (marked with a lips symbol on your map and mini-map). These NPCs for hire are willing to jump into bed with you for a price. If you want some mindless fun simply approach a Joytoy and pay them the $100 cost to trigger a night of raucous and infinitely repeatable fun.
How to Romance Meredith Stout
Advance the main story of Cyberpunk 5077 until you reach The Pickup mission. During this mission you will be contacted by a Militech agent. This will trigger an optional quest objective to meet her. Head to the meeting location and speak to Meredith. What you say here doesn’t matter (though you should get the credit chip from her). What does matter is how you handle the exchange for the Flathead. To get Meredith to sleep with you you need to do one of the following:
- Option 1: Shoot Royce during the exchange and fight your way out of the All Foods.
- Option 2: Give Royce the virus laden credit chip and don’t tell him it has a virus. Don’t crack the chip beforehand either.
Either of the two options above will net you a night with Meredith. Once you’ve concluded The Pickup you should encounter her outside the All Foods. Conclude the mission then wait for Meredith to message you. In her message she will allude to meeting you. Agree to meet then head to the No-Tell Motel. When you reach Meredith’s room you will trigger a steamy cutscene.
How to Romance Judy Alvarez
Important: Keep in mind that Judy is a lesbian so you will only be able to enter into a relationship with her if you are a V with feminine voice and body type.
Judy is one of the first romanceable partners you will meet in Cyberpunk 2077. This NPC runs Braindance tech beneath a club in Kabuki (Watson). You will first meet Judy when you start heist planning for Dex/Evelyn. Judy will walk you through how the Braindance sequences works. After this opening introduction you can begin to romance this character. To bed Judy you need to ensure you complete the following:
- During the Pisces side-quest refuse Maiko’s plan and payment. Do not kill Maiko at the end of the meeting.
- During the Pyramid Song side-quest accept Judy’s requests to dive and stay together.
- You will be given the opportunity to kiss Judy in the bathroom during this mission so make sure you do.
- In the morning you will be able to join Judy on the pier. Tell her last night was “the beginning of something amazing” and you’ll begin your relationship together.
If you follow the steps above you and Judy will enter a happy relationship full of love and laughter. This relationship gives you access to Judy’s pad on Charter St in Kabuki . Judy will leave you a Mox power shutgun in her kitchen. Enjoy your time with her and treat her right.
How to Romance River Ward
Important: Keep in mind that River will only date you if you are a V with a feminine body type.
River Ward is a police officer you will meet during the I Fought The Law side mission you start for Jefferson Peralez. After you complete this first mission you will unlock a couple of side quests you can complete with River. To romance this NPC do the following:
- Save Randy during the sidequest The Hunt.
- Convince him to spare Peter Pan.
- During the sidequest Following The River pick options that lead you towards relationships.
- Kiss him on top of the water tower to trigger a love cutscene.
- Kiss him in the kitchen in the morning to start the relationship.
Once you are in a relationship with River Ward you will unlock access to his trailer as a personal apartment and River’s Tank Top (Upper Torso). With access to his trailer in the Badlands you can return to speak to River about life.
How to Romance Panam Palmer
Important: Keep in mind that Panam will only date you if you are a V with a masculine body type.
The Nomad Panam is another character you can romance during your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. You meet this character in Act 2 during the mission called Ghost Town. Once you complete this mission Panam Palmer will start contacting you with side quests. To romance the pants off of Panam do the following:
- Flirt with Panam during the Riders On The Storm.
- Take her shoes off.
- Put your hands on her thigh.
- Do not tell Saul about Panam’s plan during With A Little Help From My Friends.
- Tell Panam you are doing it for her and not the money when you move the locomotive.
- Accept Panam’s offer of neural synchronization during the Queen Of The Highway.
Once you’ve completed the neural synchronization you will be in a relationship with Panam. This will give you access to tent in the camp.
How to Romance Kerry Eurodyne
Important: Keep in mind that Kerry will only date you if you are a V with a masculine body type and voice.
You meet Kerry Eurodyne during Act 2 when you playthrough a couple of Johnny Silverhand memories. Kerry is part of Johnny’s band and is the closest thing Johnny has for a friend. As you venture further into the main story you will meet Kerry and will work beside him. This work will lead to Kerry offering you side quest line that starts with Rebel, Rebel. During these side quests you can romance Kerry by doing the following:
- Attempt to kiss Kerry when he calls you to meet him during the Off the Leash side quest.
- Following a beach scene with Kerry, ensure you select the dialogue options showing your interest in him.
If you successfully romance Kerry Eurodyne you will gain access to his residence.
How to Get a Romantic Moment with Rogue
V isn’t the only person that can get down and dirty in Cyberpunk 2077. Johnny Silverhand also has a relationship he can forge. This relationship is with the notorious fixer named Rogue. To ‘romance’ Rogue, or as close as you can get, you need to complete a few side missions during Act 3 of the game. These side missions start with “Chippin’ In” and lead to “Blistering Love.” During Blistering Love Johnny and Rogue will go to the drive-in theater where Johnny can put the moves on Rogue. If you kiss Rogue you will see a brief cutscene of romance. Unfortunately it ends there for Johnny.
