Dark Souls 3 Opening Cinematic
Bandai Namco dropped a new version of the Dark Souls 3 opening cinematic today and it has me excited. While not showing much different from the E3 reveal thing they did, the ‘new’ footage is now narrated which provides much more context for what is being shown. While not showing much in terms of game play, players are given a brief glimpse at the lore in which they will be playing. The soldiers rising out of the smoke and ashes…Nice. Easily my favorite part of the cinematic. Check out the opening below:

Personally it doesn’t bother me. I’m not really that invested in the story aspect of the series, so seeing it is more hype then anything.
