Death’s Gambit Guide

Now that we’ve acquired two of the three Sigil of Caer Siorai items, it is time to grab the final sigil. To do this we are going to head to a place we’ve yet to visit, the broken tower in the middle of Sanctuary. Before doing this, we need to grab the Crest of Gaia. This crest can be bought at Jaco’s shop for 1100 Shards. Once you have the crest, there are a couple of places you can access now:

1. The elevator in the old tower in Sanctuary. 
2. Door behind Golden Lancer in Gaian’s Cradle. 
3. Locked door at the start of Rider’s Passage. 

For now we are going to head to Rider’s Passage to fight the boss Cusith. We will then come back to Sanctuary and continue onward. 

Rider’s Passage

With the Crest of Gaia in hand, make your way to Rider’s Passage. Towards the entrance (by Gaian’s Cradle), you will find a platform and a ladder leading up to a locked door. Interact with the door and it will now open. Go into the room and interact with the death idol here. Go up the ladder and you will reach the Cusith boss fight.

For defeating Cusith you earn a Talent Point and 2,200 Shards.

Once Cusith is defeated, return to Sanctuary and make your way to the elevator in the broken tower. Ride the elevator up to reach the Amulvaro’s Observatory area.
