Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals Ending
With the end of Season of Arrivals leading into the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light players were told they should login before the 14-hour server maintenance commenced for a fun. Logging in at 6:50 PM PST meant players had a chance to login to witness the Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals ending. Let’s take a closer look at what they saw below.
Season of Arrivals Ending
The end of the season event was viewable from the Tower where a large number of the Destiny 2 community gathered to see what Bungie had in store. A few hours before the event’s ending the Traveler appeared and began glowing. As the event moved on the Traveler began to suck up light. At 6:50 PM PT the game screen went black (some people were kicked). After the screen went black the map was shown. The darkness appeared and altered the map, removing a number of planets. This ending hints at what players can expect when Beyond Light launches tomorrow.
Of other note the the start of maintenance signals that preloading for Destiny 2: Beyond Light should be now available for players on PC. This is good as the game requires some 150+ GB to install as it attempts to rework itself into an eventually smaller package.
