Dialogue Colors Explained – Cyberpunk 2077
Speaking to characters in Cyberpunk 2077 makes up a large portion of the game’s core gameplay. You will need to master the art of talking if you wish to get the most out of your gameplay. Like other RPGs you will find the conversation system to be a tad bit confusing when you first jump into the game. There are essentially three core choices you may be presented with when you are speaking to characters. To learn more here’s a quick post with the dialogue colors explained.
What Do the Dialogue Colors Mean
When you speak to an NPC in Cyberpunk 2077 you will be presented with a variety of dialogue choices. These choices are color coded to help you determine what the result of the choice may be. The in-game databse describes the dialouge options as follows:
- Gold: represent important choices that progress the conversation.
- Blue: represent choices that might reveal valuable information or lead to interesting interactions.
- Grayed-Out: do not meet the Attribute requirement necessary to make that choice.
The above mentioned colors will appear when you speak to the different NPCs in the game. The colors of the responses determine what direction the conversation goes. If you wish to skip lore you should simply focus on the Gold response. If you want more out of your interactions be sure to select blue color options when they present themselves.
Alongside the color choices you can level your V to be more of a silver-tongue than normal builds. To accomplish this you will want to put your Attribute Points into ways you feel your V would respond in situations.
That’s all you need to know about the dialogue colors and what they mean in Cyberpunk 2077. These options hint at the possible outcomes of the conversations.
