Dishonored 2 Trailer Shows off Corvo Gameplay
Set fifteen years after the original, Dishonored two see Emily Kaldwin on the throne as Empress. As it goes in games, a political conspiracy forces Emily off the throne and into exile. Emily is not alone in her escape, as series favorite Covo Attano joins her in her adventure. Ahead of the November 11th launch, Arkane Studios has released a Dishonored 2 trailer showing off some Corvo badassery. Before we dive right in, Dishonored 2 features two playable characters, Corvo and Emily. Each character possess their own unique abilities and approaches to missions. The trailer below highlights Corvo’s gameplay.
Gameplay looks to be very Dishonored like, which is a good sign for the series. Corvo is as agile and quick as he was 15 years earlier. I especially enjoyed the brutality of many of the take downs. Players will have a wide range of attacks and abilities at their disposal.
While not much is shown in this Dishonored 2 trailer, one thing to highlight is the main antagonist. Referred to as “Delilah Kaldwin”, the character shares a similar resemblance to Delilah Copperspoon from Dishonored’s Brigmore Witches DLC. It is unclear how the DLC plays into the story of Dishonored 2, but if the enemies Corvo fights are any indication, things are not looking good in the kingdom.
Dishonored 2 arrives on November 11th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
