Dragalia Lost is a New Original Nintendo Mobile Game Coming Soon
Nintendo and new partner Cygames are currently working on a new smartphone RPG title called Dragalia Lost. This new mobile title will be launching in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau this summer (with a western release slated for late 2018). See the first footage of Dragalia Lost in the trailer below.

Both the trailer above and the game’s website are in Japanese, so it’s a bit hard to tell exactly what Dragalia Lost is all about, but from what I’ve gathered it seems to be typical RPG fare. In the trailer we see warriors, fairies, and a number wild of beasts doing battle across various locales. We also get a good look at the game’s aesthetic and you can see it has a very traditional style that fans of other mobile RPGs will immediately recognize.
News of the game should come as no surprise to fans of both Nintendo and Cygames. Cygames has been credited on mobile hits in Japan including Granblue Fantasy, and provides a perfect partner to Nintendo. Nintendo seems to feel the same way, as they will be acquiring 5 percent of the mobile studio’s stock.
Pre-registration for Dragalia Lost is currently underway on both iOS and Android in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Fans in the west will have to wait a little longer until the game hits later in 2018.
Dragalia Lost is coming to iOS and Android devices in Summer 2018.
