Firaxis Announces Civilization VI

It has been about five years since Civilization V was released in 2010, but a new iteration of Civilization is on the horizon for players. Firaxis announced the release of Civilization VI today accompanied by the trailer below (which shows no gameplay). Much of the core Civilization experience will remain the same, however cities will now expand further (multiple tiles) then in previous games, making location  much more important. Players can still expect all the typical fare of  a Civilization game, such as research and multiplayer when the game launches in October.
