In the 1.3 update for Genshin Impact there are a number of new quests players can complete. One of these new quests is called the Five Flushes of Fortune. This quest tasks players with taking photographs of different colored items each day the quest is running. For more information (and help) with this quest use our Five Flushes of Fortune Guide below.
Where to Start Five Flushes of Fortune Event
The Five Flushes of Fortune event can be started by meeting Ji Tong in Liyue Harbor during the Kurious Kamera world quest. This quest unlocks at Adventure Rank 20. Once the quest is unlocked you can visit and speak to Ji Tong to receive the Kurious Kamera gadget. This gadget lets you take pictures of enemies and objects in the world. Once you have the camera you can begin the event.
How to Complete the Five Flushes of Fortune Event
The Five Flushes of Fortune event runs from February 3-10th. During the event players are tasked with taking 10 photos per day of different colored targets. The daily target is given on the Events Overview > Five Flushes of Fortune page (as shown above) or on the top of the screen of the camera. The daily targets players have taken pictures of so far have been:
- Red Items.
- Blue Creatures.
- Red Creatures.
- Blue Items.
- Yellow Items.
- Brown Creatures.
- Purple Creatures (Active).
Each time a player takes a picture of an assigned colored item/creature they receive a random color photograph. There are five total photograph colors to collect: Crimson, Ultramarine, Pale Gold, Ocher, and . Once you’ve collected one of each of the colors you can turn them into Ji Tong for a reward filled Fortune Trove.
How to Take a Photo with the Kurious Kamera
Before diving into the daily targets let’s take a second to address the photo mechanic. The Kurious Kamera is designated a Gadget. Any Gadget is found on your inventory screen under the Gadget tab. Once equipped you will be able to use the Gadget through a simple button combination while controlling your character. This Gadget is used to take photos. Each day you have 10x Film in the camera you can use. You want to take photos of the daily active targets. Once you find a target taking a photo simply means zooming in on it enough so a circle appears around it. After the circle appears it will automatically take a photo. Simple as that.
