How to Equip Skins in The Division 2

Apparel is one form of character customization and items skins are another in The Division 2. Skins are applicable to a number of different items in The Division 2 including weapons and backpacks. Below I will show you how to equip skins in The Division 2.

How to Equip Weapon Skins in The Division 2

Note: Weapon skins can only be applied to weapons of Specialized or higher quality.

Before you can equip any weapon skins, you need to make sure you have some to equip. These can be found via cosmetic crates (keys you get out in the world or via MTX), bought directly from the store, or unlocked through the Ubisoft Club. Regardless, once you have a skin you are probably wondering how to equip it. To equip a weapon skin in The Division 2, open your inventory and select the weapon you wish to equip a skin on (Superior or higher) and access Mods. Scroll down and until you see Skin Slot. Select Skin Slot and you will see all available weapons skins. Apply the one you want.

How to Equip Backpack Skins in The Division 2

Note: Weapon skins can only be applied to weapons of Specialized or higher quality.

Similar to equipping weapon skins, Backpack skins can be equipped through the inventory screen. Hover over the backpack you wish to apply a skin to then select Mod. On the mod screen you will see a couple slots including the Dye Slot. Equip you backpack skin via the Dye Slot.
