How to Get the Wide Blade Knife in Red Dead Redemption 2

The Wide Blade Knife is a unique melee weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2. Like other unique weapons you will need to find the Wild Blade Knife to add it to your collection. Below I show you exactly how to the get the Wide Blade Knife in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Head to the Mine North of Strawberry

To get the Wide Blade Knife you are going to need to make your way to the mine located north of Strawberry. When you reach the mine you will need to use the Dynamite Plunger near the entrance to blow a whole inside. Once you do this, enter the mine and take your first right. In this area you will find a body with the knife sticking out of its back. Grab the Wide Blade Knife to have it added to your Compendium. While you are at the body, be sure to grab the Miner’s Hat that is beside it as well.

The Wide Blade Knife is a rare hunting knife in Red Dead Redemption 2. The Compendium information for this blade is:

A rare hunting knife, with a wide clip-point blade and worn curved wooden handle. This knife was found sticking out of the back of a corpse deep in the mines of Beryl’s Dream, Big Valley. The previous owner of this weapon went to great lengths to prevent their crime from being discovered.
