How to Get the Yamamura Shirt in Super Mario Maker 2

Super Mario Maker 2 allows players to unlock different clothing items for their Maker avatars. These clothing items range from simple shirts to more complex outfits. Below I will show you how to unlock the Yamamura Shirt.

Advance Story Mode to Meet Yamamura

The first thing you are gonna need to do is advance Story Mode until you meet an NPC named Yamamura. Yamamura is a pigeon you will find after shooting the West Hall Canon for the first time. After you shoot the cannon Yamamura will launch down to the path on the left. Here Yamamura will give you your first job. Complete the job then Yamamura will leave. To find him again look go inside the East Tower and he will appear in the doorway on exit. After this job Yamamura can be found by interacting with Undodog’s dog house.

Complete Yamamura’s Summer Shootout Job

Before you can unlock the Yamamura Shirt you must complete two jobs for Yamamura. These two jobs you need to complete are:

  • Airship Flight.
  • Coin Collecting on an Unnamed Airship.

After you complete these two jobs, Yamamura will offer you one final job to complete. This job called is called Summer Shootout. Once you complete this job you will receive the Yamamura Shirt as payment.

Equipping the Yamamura Shirt

Your new clothing item can be found in the Course World mode. In this mode you make a Maker avatar. This avatar can wear different pieces of clothing. To equip the Yamamura Shirt make your way to the Maker avatar page. From here select Change Outfit. You will find the shirt on the upper body page.
