How to Read and Reply to Messages in Cyberpunk 2077
The characters you meet in Cyberpunk 2077 will contact you using a number of different methods. These methods include face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and even the game’s messaging system. To complete a number of quests you will need to learn how to read and reply to messages. This system is a tad bit confusing, so I will be showing you how it works in the guide below.
Read Messages on Phone and Reply to Them
Whenever you receive a message from one of your NPC contacts it will end up in your phone. Your phone can be accessed a couple of ways with it being accessible right from the HUD (bottom left corner of the screen) or through the main management screen under Messages.
If you access your phone from your HUD you will pull up your contacts list. On the contacts screen press the Open Messages button to access the messages you’ve received. This approach takes you to the same screen you will arrive at via the main management menu > messages.
To reply to a message you will need to have a message available you can reply to. Any message you can reply to will have a yellow Reply icon beside it. When you select messages you can reply to you need to physically button select the blue text in the conversation. This will send your reply to the recipient.
