How to Unlock the Emily 14 Heart Event in Stardew Valley
In the new 1.4 update of Stardew Valley ConcernedApe added new Heart Events to unlock with your spouses. These Heart Events take place at 14 Hearts. To help you unlock each new Heart Event I am writing a guide for each spouse. To start here’s how to unlock the Emily 14 Heart Event in Stardew Valley.
How to Reach 14 Hearts with Emily?
To unlock the new event you first need to reach 14 hearts with Emily. You should already be around 10 since you’ve married her. To quickly raise the hearts with Emily you will want to give her the any of the following favorite items until you reach 14 Hearts:
- Amethyst.
- Aquamarine.
- Cloth.
- Emerald.
- Jade.
- Ruby.
- Survival Burger.
- Topaz.
- Wool.
Once you’ve reached 14 Hearts with Emily you can speak to her and she will say:
Thanks for a great year, your character name. I’m excited to tackle next year together.
Emily.
At 14 hearts leave your house and Emily will stop you. She wants you to collect 200 Fibre for a special thing she has been creating for you. This triggers a new quest.
Errand for Your Wife: Collect 200 Fiber for Emily
Fiber can be collected from a number of sources (skip if you already have 200 available). These sources are as follows:
- Weeds (50% chance to drop): can be found on Farm or on Floors 25-29 and 105-109 of the Mines.
- Wilderness Golems (90% chance to drop): can be found on the Wilderness Farm Map.
- Purchase from new Desert vendor for 5x Stone.
Once you’ve gathered 200 Fiber for Emily return to her and give it to her (like you would a gift). Once you do this Emily needs a few days to complete her surprise.
Receive Emily’s Outfit
Wait a few days then head out and run the time until 8:00 PM. Return to your house and a cutscene will trigger with Emily. Emily says she completed an outfit for you. This outfit contains the following items:
- Magic Hat.
- Magic Shirt.
- Genie Pants.
- Emily’s Magic Boots: +4 Defense, +4 Immunity.
