Iron Ingot Meets Ziwei Guide – Genshin Impact
Iron Ingot Meets Ziwei is a special Lantern Rite Tale for players to complete during the Lantern Rite event in Genshin Impact. This side quests tasks players with meeting Iron Ingot and snapping a few pictures for him. To help you complete this mission use our Iron Ingot Meets Ziwei guide below.
Iron Ingot Meets Ziwei Walkthrough
Once you start this Lantern Rite Tale make your way to the Statue of The Sevent – GEO located between Lingju Pass and Dunyu Ruins. Here you will find Iron Ingot. Speak to this NPC to start the first of two quest objectives. Both of these objectives require going to a place and taking a picture. You will take two photos total. You then need to bring Iron Ingot one of two possible dishes. Once this is complete you will then meet Ziwei, Iron Ingots crush. This will end the mission.
Find the first suitable viewing spot and take a picture
The first location is located on the northwest side of Liyue Harbor. Here you will find a glowing spot on the bridge. To take a picture as you are prompted to do so, use the game’s photo function. This photo function is accessible from the start menu where the camera icon is. Once you trigger photo mode take a picture like you see above. This will complete the first photo spot.
Find the second suitable viewing spot and take a picture
Once you’ve snapped a picture at the first viewing spot you will receive the location of the second suitable viewing spot. This spot is located on the cliffside to the north of Liyue Harbor. When you reach this location you will find another glowing spot. Stand on the glowing spot and snap the picture shown above. This will complete this objective.
Return to Iron Ingot and Give Grilled Tiger Fish or Almond Tofu
After you’ve snapped both photos head back to Iron Ingot and speak to him. During this conversation you will have the choice of two food dishes: Almond Tofu or Grilled Tiger Fish. Pick the one you wish to give Iron Ingot. This will trigger the next step which is to secure that food item for him. Both dishes can be acquired in Liyue Harbor:
- Grilled Tiger Fish: Can be bought from Chen the Sharp vendor next to Dongsheng’s Store in Liyue Harbor for 380 Mora.
- Almond Tofu: Get the recipe from investigating the kitchen in Wangshu Inn. Cook milk, sugar, and almonds to make the dish. Milk and almonds can be bought at the Liyue General Store and sugar can be processed from Sweet Flowers. Combined ingredients at cooking station.
Once you’ve gotten the dish you selected for Iron Ingot make your way back to him. Give Iron Ingot the dish you selected. After giving the dish you Iron Ingot will ask you to meet his crush, Ziwei.
Ziwei is standing nearby so head over to her. When you speak to her you will trigger an interaction between you, Ziwei and Iron Ingot. During this interaction Iron Ingot asks the astronomer to go to the Lantern Festival. After this interaction concludes you will complete the quest. For your efforts you will receive Primogems, Festive Fever, and Mora.
