Well There It Is, Jeff Goldblum is in Jurassic World Evolution
Back in August 2017, Frontier Developments (the studio behind Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster) revealed an early look at Jurassic World Evolution, a park building game set in the Jurassic Park universe. Today we got further news on the title with the announcement that Jeff Goldblum is in Jurassic World Evolution.
Well, There it is.
Jeff Goldblum, the actor who played Dr. Ian Malcolm in both the Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park films, will be playing the same role in Jurassic World Evolution. News of the announcement came in the trailer above, which features Jeff Goldblum in a quick 35 second telling us he will be with us “the whole way” throughout the game. Goldblum also goes further and rates Jurassic World Evolution, giving it 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums.
Jurassic World Evolution puts players in control of operations of Isla Nublar and other islands in the Muertes Archipelago. As a park builder, the player will be tasked with creating their own Jurassic Park, including bioengineering new dinosaurs, building containment systems, as well as park attractions.
Like the movies, don’t expect things in the park to go smoothly. The first reveal trailer showed a dinosaur eating one of its handlers. These types of events will need to be dealt with swiftly to ensure you don’t have a full scale Jurassic World type problem on your hands.
Jurassic World Evolution is slated to release Summer 2018 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
