About Red Sparrow
Red Sparrow is an upcoming spy-thriller film, based on the book Red Sparrow by Jason Matthews. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence and Joel Edgerton along with a supporting cast of Jeremy Irons and Mary-Louise Parker. Red Sparrow is directed by Francis Lawrence (Hunger Games) and written by Justin Haythe (A Cure For Wellness).
Red Sparrow tells the story of ballerina Dominika Egorova (Lawrence), who is recruited by the Russian “Sparrow School” intelligence service, which teaches individuals to use their bodies as a weapon of seduction and destruction. Egorova’s first mission sees her targeting a CIA agent (Edgerton) and things quickly become more complicated.
Red Sparrow is slated for release in March 2, 2018.
