Johnny Silverhand Easter Egg on Cyberpunk 2077 Character Creation Screen Found
CDProjektRed’s Cyberpunk 2077 is a huge game with different events and secrets that are still being discovered by players. Some of these secrets are well hidden and require specific inputs to find. One secret has been found by Redditor u/blickbeared who posted a video of a Johnny Silverhand Easter Egg on the character creation screen. V Brielfy Becomes Johnny Silverhand in Character Creation
The Easter Egg itself is fairly easy to do. On the Character Creation screen in Cyberpunk 2077 players can click/press on the fingerprint on the confirmation screen. This will cause the information on the character confirmation to flicker and change for a brief moment. After the flicker the Lifepath becomes Samurai, the Alias becomes Johnny Silverhand, and the backstory becomes lyrics from Johnny’s Never Fade Away. This info is a blink and you will miss it type deal so we grabbed a screenshot of the information you can see below.
This character creation screen Easter Egg is a nod to V’s and Johnny’s fates being intertwined from the start. It is a nice little addition given the complexity in how the game can end. It is also a nice secret for those players that literally click on everything in a menu to what happens. You know who you are.
