Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Drops
Over the past 10 years Marvel Studios has been creating what they refer to as the Marvel Universe, and today fans got a peek at the culmination of this work. Early today, Marvel Studios released the first Avengers: Infinity War Trailer. Avengers: Infinity War pulls together many of the beloved Marvel properties into the same film. Avengers: Infinity War Trailer
As you can see from the trailer, Avengers Infinity War is jam packed with Marvel characters. There’s the core group of Avengers in Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, and Black Widow, along with other heroes such as Dr Strange, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. This collection of superheroes joins forces to face off against a new threat in Thanos. As Marvel explains:
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
If early numbers are any indication, it appears Marvel and Disney already have a hit on their hands. At the time of writing, the official trailer on Marvel’s YouTube page already has 12 million views and over a million likes. Fans will be able to see Avengers: Infinity War when it drops on May 04, 2018.
