Maye Bridge Guide – Vigil: The Longest Night
Upon completion of the Mountain Pass in Vigil: The Longest Night you will arrive at the Maye Bridge. This section of the world is home to a number of items, enemies, and secrets. Upon traversing this location you will reach the hub-world of the game which houses numerous NPCs and merchants. To navigate this area use our Maye Bridge guide below.
How to Reach Maye Town
At the top of the bridge head over to the glowing orb and interact with it to learn how to go down stairs. Use this hint and head down the nearby stairs to the Owl Statue. Save your game then head to the right and grab the 10x Throwing Knives off the ground. Interact with the orb near the knives to learn about the quick item wheel.
Head down the stairs and fight the tough enemy here. On the ledge the enemy was platform the enemy was on you can head to the right or left.
- Left: Head down the stairs to the left and jump across to the ledge. Investigate the orb to learn about Arcane Item.
- Right (Path to Follow): Head down the stairs to the right and take on the enemy there. Defeat this enemy and continue heading down using the wooden stairs and platforms until you reach the ground below.
On the ground of beneath the bridge head to the left. Along the left wall you will see a few ledges you can climb to reach an item. This item is 1x Small Shimmer Stone. Grab this item then head along the ground to the right into the water.
Fight the enemies along the ground heading right until you reach a wooden ladder. Jump to the wooden ladder and climb up it to reach an orb that talks about jumping and grabbing ledges. Continue up the stone ledges and use the second one to jump off to the dirt ledge to the far right. Here you will find the Stinky Helmet and a Note next to some crates. Head back to the stone ledge you jumped off and continue up it so you reach the underside of the bridge.
Where to Get the Curved Daggers
At the top of the stairs head to the left past the old building into the room pictured above. Interact with the bookshelf to read the Shabby Label for some lore. Continue left and open the chest to find Weapon – Curved Daggers. Go left from the treasure chest until you reach a block doorway. Attack the door to open a shortcut back to the starting Owl Statue.
Save your game then head right from the Owl Statue until you reach the old building. Jump up onto its roof and grab the 2x Healing Potions. On top of the bridge head to the left of the soldiers until you reach the end of the bridge to find 1x Fledgling’s Blood Soul. Head right and go up to the soldiers. Speak to them to enter Maye Town.
