Monster Hunter Rise Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions Guide

Monster Hunter Rise is slated to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. Ahead of the game’s release date Capcom has already opened up pre-orders for this new entry into the Monster Hunter franchise. This newest entry promises to take the Monster Hunter formula in a new direction featuring seamless open-world environments and more verticality thanks to the Wirebug your hunter now uses. Ahead of the launch let’s take a look at what’s on offer in our Monster Hunter Rise Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions guide.

Monster Hunter Rise Pre-Order Bonuses

If you are chomping at the bit for more Monster Hunter action and feel like pre-ordering the game there are a few bonuses for players that do so. In Monster Hunter Rise there is a new dog-like pet called the Palamute alongside the returning fan favorite the Palico. Both of these pets get some pre-order layered armor goodies:

  • Palamute Retriever Costume layered armor
  • Palico Forest Cat Costume layered armor
  • Novice Talisman for some extra assistance in the early stages

To secure these items simply pre-order Monster Hunter Rise before its release date. Once you’ve done this the items listed above are yours regardless of the edition of the game you purchase.

Monster Hunter Rise Standard Edition Content ($59.99)

Purchasing the Monster Hunter Rise Standard Edition will net you the game. No extra goodies here. This edition of Monster Hunter Rise will cost you $59.99 USD.

Monster Hunter Rise Deluxe Edition Content ($69.99)

If the standard edition of Monster Hunter Rise is a bit lacking in content for you then the deluxe edition might just be what you need. Not quite as flushed out as the collector’s edition, the Deluxe Edition costs $69.99 USD and comes with some in-game extras for player courtesy of the “deluxe kit DLC pack.” The contents of this “deluxe kit DLC pack” are as follows:

  • “Kamurai” Hunter layered armor set
  • “Shuriken Collar” Palamute layered armor piece
  • “Fish Collar” Palico layered armor piece
  • Gestures (4 Jumps)

  • “Izuchi Tail” hairstyle

Alongside the items listed above you can also snag the pre-order bonuses with this edition as well. This edition is the mid-tier option for Monster Hunter fans.
