New IT Trailer is Terrifying
There are a few things that scare me in life: heights, dying alone, FilmApe, and clowns. The newest trailer for Stephen King’s IT delivers on one of those fears, clowns. Slated for a September 7, 2017, IT is a reboot of the classic film/book of the same name. Given the trailers we have seen so far, it appears that the new IT will be playing around in the Stranger Things wheelhouse. This could be pretty interesting. Check out the New IT trailer below and tell me the final shot ain’t terrifying.
Before you peep the trailer, here is a little background on the upcoming IT movie. Set in Derry, Maine, IT follows a band of neighborhood kids as they square off against Pennywise, an evil clown who may be linked to the recent disappearance of other children from the town. Like many good villains, Pennywise has a history of murder and violence which dates back for centuries.
Watching this trailer right before I went to bed is one of the poorer decisions that I have made recently. Even with the multiple balloons, I was most definitely spooked.
Clowns are creepy!
Also, technically Stranger Things is playing in the IT wheelhouse…
